Official opening of relocated Little Paxton Post Office

25th November 2013

Little Paxton Post Office, which has relocated from a mobile Post Office to The Anchor Pub, has been officially opened.

To celebrate the launch of the new style open-plan branch, new Subpostmistress Sue Merritt, the pub landlady was joined by Jonathan Djanogly MP for the Huntingdon constituency.

Mr Djanogly said: “A post office is vital to the local community so well done to Sue Merritt for taking on Little Paxton Post Office at her pub and offering fabulous opening hours, which will be very convenient for villagers. This is a great improvement on the previous mobile Post Office. I am confident the improvements will be warmly welcomed by my constituents.”
