MP visits Royal Mail delivery office

30th December 2012

Jonathan Djanogly visited Royal Mail’s Huntingdon delivery office before Christmas to thank local postmen and women for their hard work during the busiest time of year for Royal Mail.

Jonathan toured the delivery office in St Peter’s Road with local Delivery Office Manager Colin Walker and was introduced to the postmen and women sorting and delivering all the cards and parcels for the Huntingdon area in the run-up to Christmas.

Jonathan said: “It was great to meet the hard-working Royal Mail postmen and women at the Huntingdon delivery office and to see firsthand just how much effort they put into delivering for people during the festive season.”

“Postmen and women do such an important job throughout the whole year and I would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best over the busy festive period.”
